Powell Peralta Steve Caballero Gundam FLIGHT Skateboard Deck
Description
FLIGHT™ Decks are:
Thinner - as thin as your phone.
Stronger - more than twice as strong in our tail break tests.
Longer lasting - The epoxy infused, fiber reinforced structure of the Flight deck is extremely resistant to breaking, and this structure gives them "everlasting pop" that doesn't fade as your deck slowly wears.
Ollies higher because of greater rebound and snap.
Team testing suggests that Flight decks will last several times longer than a 7-ply, making them a great value as well as a superior performing skateboard.

* K20 Concave
Mellow double kick concave with great foot feel between the trucks. The lower nose and tail angles allow for flatter, leveled-out pops, for shove-it and flip tricks. The mellow middle enables you to catch your board with the whole bottom of your foot instead of just your toes and heels, helping to eliminate the flapping that can occur with feet-off-the-board tricks.
About Powell-Peralta Flight® Decks
Powell Peralta® Flight decks are made in the USA at our skateboard manufacturing facility in Ventura, CA. Materials include U.S. hard rock maple, high strength fiberglass, AirLam fused with epoxy resin and are warranted against delamination for their useful life. Our graphics are created in-house using non-solvent based inks and paints to keep our atmosphere cleaner.
The Flight Deck® Construction was developed by Powell Peralta to provide the strength and performance today’s skaters routinely demand of their decks. The standard 7-Ply construction was developed for skaters of the 1970’s and ’80’s who were then at the forefront of skating. Since the turn of the 21st century, skaters have greatly expanded the skate terrain and height of tricks being done, routinely breaking their 7 ply decks during landings, and reducing the POP of their 7-ply boards in only a few days of use. Flight Decks are more than twice as strong as 7-ply decks, have enhanced POP that will remain constant for the life of the desk, are thinner and just as light as a 7 Ply. They typically last at least 3 times longer than a 7-ply, but cost less than twice as much, making them a bargain.
Flight Decks allow skaters to improve faster because they almost never break, even if a trick is not landed with the skater’s feet over the trucks, or a car is driven over their skateboard. This gives skaters the confidence to learn tricks faster, without fear of their deck breaking and causing injury. The POP enhancing flex and consistent rebound of Flight Decks provides quicker and more responsive performance.
*Remember, skateboards are meant to be ridden, not run over by a car or truck.
