True Skidplates Extra Slim (Set of 2)

Description

True Skidplates Extra Slim are permanently mounted to the nose and tail and drastically enhance the longevity of your deck. Available in black or white and sold as a pair.

  • For mounting you will need a 6mm metal or wood drill (not included)
Instructions* :
  1. Hold the skidplates in place by hand or with a wood clamp and mark the holes with a pencil or fine-liner.
  2. Pre-drill the holes with a thin drill bit
  3. Use a 6mm metal or wood drill bit to make the final holes for the mounting rivets
  4. Remove wood chips and grip tape from the holes and push the rivets through the top of the board.
  5. Mount the skidplates with a manual (philips) screwdriver. Keep alternating until both of the bolts are securely tightened. Do not use an electric screwdriver to tighten the skidplates.

*Wear protective gloves, safety glasses, safety mask and work in a well ventilated place. Keep in mind that most longboards contain fiberglass and other composites that should be avoided to touch, inhale or get in the eyes.

  • We are located in the Netherlands and ship worldwide.
  • Free shipping on orders over €75,- to The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany; over €150,- (small/medium pack) to France; and over €200,- (small/medium pack) elsewhere in the European Union.
  • Orders are carefully picked, packed and shipped from our workshop in the Netherlands. Depending on the destination and package volume, we'll suggest one or more suitable shipping services at checkout.

Customs duties & import taxes (orders outside the EU)

  • Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or customs handling fees charged by your country's customs authority. These charges are determined by your destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient unless stated otherwise below.
  • United Kingdom: orders over £135 (about €155,-) are subject to UK import VAT (20%) and may incur additional duties or handling fees on delivery. Orders of £135 or under have UK VAT (20%) included at checkout. Note: the UK has announced plans to phase out this £135 threshold by 2029, so this may change.
  • United States: as of August 2025, the US no longer offers a duty-free allowance for low-value imports — all orders shipped to the US may be subject to customs duties and fees, regardless of order value. These are charged by US customs at the border and are not included in our checkout price.
  • All other non-EU destinations: please check your local customs authority for applicable thresholds and rates, as these vary by country and are updated periodically by local governments. We are not able to predict or cover these charges on your behalf.
  • We are not responsible for customs delays or charges, and we cannot mark orders as gifts or under-declare value to avoid them.
Return
  • We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
  • Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as complete/mounted skateboards or longboards, griptape cut to a predefined length). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
  • We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
  • Exchanges: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
  • Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process
