Romeboard Dancing are closing out the summer with an open session in Rome, and they have built it around people who have never stood on a longboard.
The meet-up came out of their own inbox. Over the summer the crew's Instagram filled up with messages from people asking about their weekly sessions, so instead of answering them one at a time they decided to put on something bigger: a first edition, free to attend, to welcome the newcomers and get the regulars back together after the holidays.
It runs from 16:00 to 21:00 as an open session — free lessons, group skating and games with prizes. You do not need your own board to come. The crew are bringing spares, so if you want to try dancing for the first time, message them on Instagram at @romeboard.dancing beforehand and they will set one aside for you.
Entry is free, and registration is through Eventbrite.
